Is there actually a decently sized ML movement in Portugal? Didn’t expect an explicitly communist rally anywhere in the EU tbh, at best I’d thought they’d have a “generic leftist” rally with some commies tagging along.
The Portuguese communist Party is one of the strongest communist parties in Europe and got 5% in the last election, although they used to get more votes
Looks like Portugal’s pretty based, here’s the history of the party.
Went there too for the first time this year, it’s incredible.
