      Seriously. I don’t care who you are or how smart you are, you do not have even the mental capacity to solo rule a city, let alone a country. DPRK would have collapsed within days if the Kims were actually the types of dictators they think they are.

          Ironic because Western libs LOVE that European Monarchy aesthetic, but actually assume that the King, Queen, or Disney Princess literally run the entire kingdom with magic and daily musical numbers and whatever. Like, you love midieval princess stories so much, surely you’ve heard of the word noblemen? Or words like knights? Lords/Ladies? Counts/Countesses? Dukes/Duchesses? Clergy? Those people aren’t in those positions for the fun of it. They run the country on behalf of the king, and have the real power to overthrow and kill the king if they dislike him for any reason. Again, it’s a ruling class, not a solitary ruler!

      I think because no Westerner realises the country has a population of 25 million people, similar to Australia. They think it’s some sort of small Western town with one bandit ruling it, as opposed to an actual function country with multiple levels of government.

      Kim has to be one of the most competent leaders if he can manage to solo rule a country of this size without it collapsing within a few weeks.
