A friend of mine is helping another friend into communist works, and wants Lenin to be the introduction. Do any of you have any sort of recommendation as to what can be used?
Tried to put this together so it’d all make sense when read in order. Included Peasant Movement in Hunan because it’s a good demo of Mao’s “On Practice” in real life. Tried to not include Lenin’s work where it’s mostly him beefing with other theorists since that requires a bit of external reading.

I think Mao’s little red book would be an easier introduction than Lenin

I mean, yeah. It’s called “Quotations from Chairman Mao Zedong”.
It’s excellent quick gotcha reference for shutting up western maoists though.
