Democracy is when I get to choose between a Democrat who is going to blast me in the ass or a Republican who is going to blast me in the ass.

See, that’s democracy. You can choose the flavor of blasting. That’s why they were so upset with Soviets, they couldn’t choose the flavor of their sausages.

Western “human rights advocates”: “HURR DURR NO FREEDUM OF CHOICE IN SOVIET! ONLY ONE FLAVOUR OF SAUSSAGES!”

Recently liberated Eastern European peasents: “HOLY SHIT WE GET TO EAT MEAT? THAT USED TO BE A RICH PERSON THING!”

I used to have a problem with a ´one party state´ until I got into communism. While it’s important to have things like Unions present in the government, I see no big problems with a one party state in a communist country. It actually makes more sense than six or seven (or twenty in my home country) parties. If the one party represents the people, what should the other ones do in order to be different?

On china they resolved that problem, the other parties on the country besides the CPC (that are supposed to represent the other classes in the country besides the ploretarian) have the right to participate, but in the end they aways need the permition of the CPC to do anything.

Which, he isn’t even. They repealed an age limit for the presidency under Xi. That’s it. Considering how much the US likes electing old geezers who can barely take a shit on their own, not sure if they have the right to criticize it. Xi is younger than 90% of US politicians, and grew up as a worker, as opposed to being a spoiled man child from an excessively rich family.

But you know who do serve for life and are never democratically voted in? The US Supreme Court. And they’re about to overturn abortion despite the majority of US citizens supporting it. 🤔

People that only know governments that are evil and don’t care for them can’t fathom anyone supporting any government without being brain washed. They cannot fathom that there are governments our there that focus on helping their civilians and improving their lives and this being supported. The government must always be seen as the manipulator. The deceiver.

This is why Americans can so easily jump on the communist brainwashing theory. They don’t trust their government therefore they are free thinking. The Chinese trust their government however. Therefore they are brainwashed.
