I’m hoping this helps keep more pro capitalist forces out of the Vietnamese government. I had heard western influence had been creeping in. Don’t quote me on that though. I could have heard wrong. Regardless this is a good move.
Indeed, corruption is precisely how US gets its tentacles in, and a coordinated effort to root it out can only be a good thing.

It honestly seems largely overblown, and US just loves talking about it because it creates a pretext to insert themselves into Asia.
