    What If we genocided 20% of everyone on the Korean peninsula, flattened 85% of the structures in NK and then spent 70 years demonizing our victims with ridiculous propaganda and psychotic sanctions. Surely they wouldn’t have a functional society. Surely we are the good guys!

        pretty well is a understatement, even with being militarily threatened and economicaly blocked they still have better social indicators than “eUrOpEaN sOcDeM”

    Given everything they have went through, the DPRK does pretty well. I wouldn’t mind going back to see how things have changed since i last had the chance. It had its issues, but a lot of that stemmed from US sanctions, not issues created by their own government.

    Don’t remind them that Laos exists, they forgot why they were bombing them and stopped.
