The Ukrainian war seems to be a massive watershed mask off moment for faux ‘leftists’. Those who actually oppose zelensky and western bourgeois imperialism and those who do so only in theory but not on practice are now being separated out.

I think us dialectical posters here have done a good job here educating those falling into idealist thought patterns.

There will be no socialism until the American Empire is in submission.

And Russia’s success is integral to that future! Russia’s sacrifice is advancing real, existing socialism and it’s future.

I’ve seen someone on the r/ claiming that Putin has a number of references to imperial Russia, and that wouldn’t seem too far off his nationalism and anti-communist rethotic. I’m curious why you say it’s dumb to call him “tsarist” (legit question no irony)

Because there is obviously no monarchy nor any attempts to recreate it in Russia, duh. Monarchism is pretty specific term, not a buzzword for when eastern leader do not want to relinquish his power to US puppet opposition.

Being a tsarist means wanting to make the tsar the head of state which is probably not what he wants.

There is a lot of difference from an oligarchist to an monarchist, i doubt Putin sees himself as an monarch emperor or some shit like that.
