Even after all, I was speechless because my account was PERMANENTLY suspended just because of this reply… I expected ban from that sub. I wanted to delete Reddit when GenZedong gets eventually banned and I wanted to delete all my posts first

The “suicide help” note bullshit was definitely introduced to try to present Reddit as not being that bad of a toxic cesspool, but they ended up fucking that up too.
I was thinking it’s legit in the beginning, but then I started receiving it about 10 times a week and it was always random people who were concerned and reached reddit, it started shortly after Russians entered Ukraine.

I got permanently suspended for saying the only good Nazi is a dead Nazi. I even sent them an appeal and they rejected it without giving a reason. It seems from now on you’re not allowed to be against Nazism on reddit.

Went on a reporting spree a while back when there was yet-another Pinochet/helicopter meme video and all the comments were like “Better dead than red” and advocating for torture and expressing the desire to do this themselves and shit.

I can’t wait for Reddit to be shut down, I remember using Google+ until it was shut down in 2019, I remember Google+ was best, and filled with really good people, of course there were jerks here and there, but it was filled with mostly amazing people, at least in my experience. And the fact that Google+ was shut down while REDDIT, this racist nazi pedo site STILL EXISTS is beyond me…
I mean it’s Google, they kill services when their growth rate falls. I repeat, when their growth rate falls. This means they kill services that are still growing just because they’re not growing as fast as they were growing before.
Reddit was fun when it was a place for nerds. As Facebook got worse, the Facebook crowd brigaded and took over reddit. This is why reddit has been getting worse.
If it were a ban for a single subreddit because they were annoyed at (from their point of view) an aggressive assertion that Ukrainian defenders are all Nazis, then I can understand that. It’s a bit of a flamer knee-jerk post anyway, true or not.
But a site-wide permanent ban? That’s just unreasonable.
