Russians appear to get along just fine
Which ones and with whom? Half of them have had to keep a low profile since the invasion because reactionary warmongers went for the jugular of everything Russian. These people who don’t need much of an excuse to ramp up the hate crimes and xenophobia; the press gave them what they needed.
And what about Ukrainians? The ones repeatedly condemned to fight a war for those for whom the Economist speaks.
Economist articles are written by nameless authors so they can swing wildly to stir up as much shit as possible and there’s nobody to hold to account.
(Also, one way of reading this headline is that Britons oppose the war but Russians overwhelmingly don’t oppose it. Doubt very much that’s the message the authors were trying to convey.)
