    I think any socialist revolution in Western Europe would necessarily have to redistribute wealth not only to its own proletariat, but to the proletariat of the places they colonized.

      The assumption that a Slavoj Zizek is the same as a Vladimir Lenin, is incorrect. Anglo socialists are a lot more fallible and less strict about good morals than non Anglo/anti imperialist country ones.
