There is no way he did not sustain life altering concussive wounds, internal brain bleeding, hematomas, and skull and spinal injuries from that beatdown. He looks barely conscious for the booking photo and looks like he’s sitting down/propped up by someone.

He was beaten so badly the people who did the beating thought they killed him
Apparently he was disarmed by an army veteran an then beaten with his own pistol and kicked in the head by a performer with high heels.
