In Canada teeth are luxury bones. I just spent 1200$ on Monday to get an infected tooth fixed. My job is dealing with biohazardous waste for 30k a year. Honestly a noose might be preferable.

That’s what makes this assisted dying thing so evil - basic health care and social services are being left to rot but you can die if you want.

Right before I left Canada a dentist was incredibly eager about trying to sell me a wisdom tooth removal. It was an upscale practice and yet their sales tactics and energy gave me car dealership vibes. In Germany getting it out wasn’t an issue, can’t even tell you how much it cost. My normal dentist has done some things that weren’t technically on the insurance approved list either, but they bill it so that insurance covers it anyway.

A wisdom tooth removal is 900$ atm. My dentist is trying to set me up for one but I’m putting it off. Things are fucking ridiculous. I work either slightly more or slightly less than full time hours depending on how my schedule works out each week. But no insurance/benefits of course. Tired of hearing other Canadians jerk off over “free” Healthcare and “Frontline heroes” while getting Ass blasted by our shitty neolib regime.

Yeah, unfortunately teeth and eyes (maybe ears too) are not covered in our healthcare system, so you either pay out of pocket or get private insurance to cover all or part of it…. It’s incredibly stupid

Same in Poland. Basic dentistry is free, but there was dentist exodus from the Poland lately and lines are long. And if you need dentist surgeon, you’re absolutely screwed.
