I don’t think there’s a single campaign promise he hasn’t broken at this point. I was gonna end this with “lol” but then I realized just how fucking sad that is.

He kept the most important promise. “Nothing will fundamentally change.”

Not even that’s true. There was change. Roe got overturned after decades so even his “nothing will fundamentally change” promise kind of failed. Then again at a “fundamental” level I guess the Dems are still worthless, spinless, cowards, that let Pubs get whatever they want.

The overturning of Roe wasn’t an executive branch thing though, and we already had the sense it was coming before his election. Biden kept up his general “vow of inaction” on that issue by not pushing Congress to legally codify abortion protections. He also won’t take any step towards checking the power of the legislative branch.

It is impossible thst they do that because the need it that way so that they can imprison black people and make them do slave work.

It is a duel wammy for Dems too. Not only do their sponsors get slave labor, but they can hold that over libs’ heads next election cycle as well. And all it requires of Dems is that they do nothing, something they are rather good at.
