Liberals: Whataboutism

Also Liberals:

What about Stalin?

What about the Gulags?

What about the Soviet Union?

What about North Korea?

What about Holomodor?

What about 100 million dead?

What about 200 million dead?

What about human nature?

    What about Stalin?

    Good.

    What about the Gulags?

    Necessary.

    What about the Soviet Union?

    Good.

    What about North Korea?

    Also good.

    What about Holomodor?

    Not our fault.

    What about 100 million dead?

In the fantasy of anti-communist “researchers” who can’t be bothered with proper research.

    What about 200 million dead?

Oh wow, we have a new high score!

    What about human nature?

No such thing as human nature.

Hope that clears things up, liberals. ;)

The obsession with whataboutism is a good example of the intellectual bankruptcy and pseudo-scientific thinking of liberals. They give whataboutism a tautological credibility and think because it has a “name” it is a pathology.

and somehow their crimes & sins are < the excesses of whatever they are kvetching about.

For recent examples see 2020 presidential electoral politics.

What’s interesting is that liberals are never accused of “crimes of liberalism” and “guilt by association”

    Which is interesting?

    Why not?

They were directly responsible for WW2 (most of the West financed Hitler), they were responsible for WW1, the Korean war which killed 20% of the Koreans living in the north, responsible for millions and chemical weapons being dropped on Vietnam, responsible for helping the Indonesians commit genocide in the 60s, the Iraq war (another 2.5 million dead), Afghanistan etc etc

They are literally dripping in head to toe of blood (from conflicts today not 70 years ago) yet somehow we should repent for some kulaks that deserved to be shot in the 30s, Stalin eliminating the fifth column in Russia and denying fascists liberty?
