maybe they’ll reform the definition of Human Rights to the point that people will start realizing that it’s a liberal invention that means nothing, and has only ever been used as a justification for imperialism onto impoverished and non-western nations.

Corporate personhood is already a thing, the next logical step is for the supreme court to take personhood away from actual humans, and then US can enter the final stage of capitalism.

based on the principals laid out by America’s Founding Fathers

I’ve never seen a country fetishize people so much. The American bourgeoise will go on and convince everyone that Stalin viewed himself as a god or that the Kims are a pantheon to the DPRK, yet continue with this

it’s honestly so weird that americans feel like they can call out other countries for cult of personalities when the founding fathers are a thing. even the term itself is so fucking weird as a foreigner.

projection like this is quintessential to the fascist propaganda strategy. “we’re not fascist, we’re national socialists; the socialists are the real fascists.” “we’re not interfering with your democracy the russians are” “we’re not terrorists; any civilians we kill are designated post-mortem as terrorists” etc. it’s ubiquitous in the american worldview.

antifascists are fascists, elected representatives are dictators, popular revolutions are coups. you’re not brainwashed, anyone who challenges what we tell you is. the most blatant and simplistic tactic for manipulation of public perception is one of the most incredibly effective.

Pompeo, speaking in Philadelphia, singled out property rights and religious freedom as “foremost” principals in a speech that elsewhere complained about the “proliferation” of protections in international agreements related to human rights.

Very telling which rights are most important to a tool of the bourgeoisie.

“No one can enjoy the pursuit of happiness if you cannot own the fruits of your own labor. […]” he said.

Then abolish capitalism? Under capitalism, most of us definitely don’t own the fruits of our own labour.

He also criticized The New York Times for its 1619 Project, an award-winning explanation of the persistent legacy of slavery in the United States.

“America is fundamentally good and has much to offer the world because our founders recognized the existence of God-given unalienable rights and designed a durable system to protect them,” he said.

No comment, just :face with rolling eyes: :face with rolling eyes: :face with rolling eyes:
