Probably just western journos getting their articles done by the weekend. Most likely we’re going to see an exponential growth russiabad posts (we’re already seeing NYT op-eds calling Jill Stein a russian plant) until the end of the US election.

There’s definitely an explosion of it. I guess they’re mad that Russian is both winning the war and refusing to take the bait to attack NATO directly.
As comrades have mentioned, the election is a big factor. Kamala is running ads highlight her support for Ukraine in states with populations connected to Eastern Europe that are considered strategically important. Also the campaign to tell people that Russia is paying political commentators is in full force.
