One of the most baffling things about AI chuds is that upon being given a machine that can replicate a wide variety of styles, a staggeringly large number of them ask it to make something that looks like a shitty CGI commercial. Like you have this absurdly powerful and versatile device that can be finely controlled with the barest of effort, and instead of taking advantage of any of that they go “I want a picture that looks like what computers can already trivially do, but worse!” and then bark and clap while it churns out the most dogshit images you have ever seen.

Maybe the private/paid ones can do more artstyles but the free ones kinda’ have their own intention to force people’s inputs into looking like Pixar, movie posters, video game concept art, anime fan art, etc. It’s not actually that diverse, or at least not diverse without the user inputting like dozens of specific instructions to try to guide it away from being generic as fuck where the machine’s most comfortable.

I’m only familiar with locally hosted open source models, which have way more ways to control the output from LORAs to controlnet and things like IPAdapter.
They aren’t running it on their own PC, this is being put into some web interface.

I will never understand why CHUDs love shoehorning AI “art” into everything. Like, to me what little novelty it had wore off.
There’s no shortage of CHUDs, let alone CHUD artists that would happily draw something to convey the message of “men NEED special treatment or else babbies will be sad!” (Do not look up which gender has more diddlers tho. I think it’s less “why can’t they do art” as they found an artist that does “free non-PC commissions” and are willing to put up with all kinds of shit. Churning around the chans you can see chuds sharing prompts and suggestions. However they are accidental pen-testers because they are trying to coerce “safe” models to generate Nazi imagery and such. A lot of their excitement comes from this “hacking” that they share widely. In their minds they are getting around the “DEI/BLM/CRT/PC/XYZ/PDQ” censors, and showcasing this work inspires other non-technical chuds to follow. It’s not terribly different than meme creation.
