It is true today as Joe Biden struggles for public support for the war in Ukraine, and it was true six decades ago as Jack Kennedy struggled to understand the war he chose to pursue in South Vietnam.

      Yeah. Unfortunately, Substack recently patched all the paywall bypasses that previously worked, so there’s no way to get the article until someone finds a new one

        Let alone bypasses, I didn’t even know substack had paywalls in the first place. First time I am seeing one. 21st century western journalism truly is a spectacle.

            Yeah, most have a Patreon-like thing where most of the better content is paywalled
