Is there a reason? Did the instance project died? So sad.
It’s happened before, and I think it was the hosting provider that messed up that time. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to reach the mod in charge of the server yet, but hopefully it’ll be back up soon
Have them comment on this thread, I might be able to help them with hosting.

Probably a stupid question (but then again I never used matrix), but will this affect any matrix accounts signed using that matrix instance?
you can’t log in to an account registered to genzedong.org until it’s back up again, but it shouldn’t have any lasting effect
That’s the nice thing about self-hosting Matrix. If my server is down, I can fix it. If someone else’s server is down, I can still use it. It would be even better if it was completely peer to peer, then this problem wouldn’t even be able to happen.
