Despite how perverted and pedophiliac many people and media in modern Japan are, I remember reading that despite Japan’s official age of consent being 13, almost all prefectures have local laws that raise the actual age of consent to being 18.
That being said, its still fucking disgusting that 13 is the on-paper federal age of consent, and most reich-wing weaboos would probably wish the Japanese AOC would be 10, anyway.
