    I’m sure the EU will respect the outcome of this referendum and will not try to start shit in a possibly new part of Russia close to their lands.

      I mean they pushed for NATO expansion, and this is less hostile so, I can see no reason why they wpuld not be ok with it /s

      Considering how the war is going, Transnistria would not be exclave for too long.

        Yeah, they will connect it with Mykolaiv Oblast and Odessa Oblast.

    I would advise remaining skeptical about this. Personally i am not convinced that this will actually take place, and even if it does there’s a good chance that Russia will ignore it. I am also not discounting the possibility that this is some kind of information warfare ploy. So let’s wait and see what happens before jumping to conclusions.
