      I hope it’s irony because if not this is the stupidest thing I’ve read in a while given that those babies can’t survive outside their mother’s body, hence having absolutely zero autonomy on a basic material level

          what if it ruins the existence of people who already do in fact have lives and relationships, things that could be permanently upended, and could result in the parent and child both having a miserable existence. In this capitalist world, we don’t have the framework that could properly care for these children and single parent families, so abortions is the best we have.

          Look at it this way: the baby doesn’t exist yet as a person, and therefore by definition cannot have a preference for existence.
