Hello comrades!
u/based_grandma69, u/velrot and I are all working on a super secret project which requires based programmers and may be moderators as well!
We already have coders on the team, but we are reaching hoping for more cooperation and making everything easier for everyone.
Knowing any programming language is fine, but we are specifically looking for people who understand HTML, CSS and Javascript. If you are interested in joining us for creating a super secret project which could determine the future of GenZedong and Marxism-Leninism, comment below why you believe you should be a People’s Programmer! We’ll further contact you if you seem decent.
Thank you for reading comrades!
Here are questions that you should respond to if interested, you can post the response in the replies. If you are decent enough we will message you an invite to a Discord.
- What programming languages do you know and how much experience do you have with them? Coders who have familiarity with programming is required, but not career coders.
- How active on the internet are you?
- Do you have experience working on a website in the past?
- How long have you been a Marxist-Leninist?
- What would you say is the Marxist figure you like the most?
- Is trans liberation absolutely necessary?
- What is your Reddit username?
This better be for a 5 heads of communism dating simulator.

Omg now that its in my brain we must have it
I’ve gotta say, I’m not big on the idea of ‘super secret’ in my JavaScript. Closed source is why I left places like reddit years ago.
At the absolute least, don’t complicate the upgrade process when Lemmy has an update (out-of-date federated instances suck), and don’t do anything controversial/invasive or annoying or alienating to mobile app users and cross-instance users (e.g. lemmy.ml accounts) that don’t run those changes.
I may out myself as a non zoomer but here I come
Languages
C, C++(12+ years), Python(10ish years), Rust (like 7 years, I had one of the first builds of rustc in my old laptop) and Golang (5 years). I did read over eloquent javascript and can hold my ground. I know enough of css, html to get around. Personally I’m more of a systems person but hey.
websites
Yeah, I used to maintain some bad PHP wordpress stuff. I also know obscure w3c standards because of work lol.
internet
ish, generally on a couple of places all the time
Long being an ML
I’m generally drifting around, but I am closest to ML than anything else. More than 14 years ago
Marxist figure
Perhaps because I’m latinx, but maybe che? I find it hard to commit to a figure as they all tend to be flawed in ways I can’t describe. I would find it easier to mention texts that marxed (haha) me
Trans?
yes, trans. No buts no ifs.
reddit
None really, I got banned and I mostly make troll throwaways nowadays
- Haskell (+5 years), Golang (1+ year), Elixir (1 year).
- A few hours after work.
- Yes. In all the languages I’ve listed before. Back end focused.
- 1 year, give or take.
- Stalin.
- Without question
- I don’t want to share it publicly to avoid crossing online entities.
Monad
Haskal
of course
commenting so this gets more attention
- Golang (4 years), Swift (2 years), JS (5 years), CSS (5 years), HTML (5 years). I am most familiar with Golang, and have created multiple projects with it, my biggest one being ITD. I’ve made websites too, such as SimpleDash and Scope. I prefer to minimize the amount of JS within my websites so as to drastically increase their speed, but I use it where needed.
- I am relatively active, especially on Reddit and Matrix.
- I have worked on multiple websites in the past with varying software stacks.
- I have been a Marxist-Leninist for 2 years.
- I like Lenin most.
- It is absolutely necessary.
- u/ArsenM6331
- JavaScript HTML and CSS and python very much
- I try to stay away from the internet
- Yes I can make a website
- Ever since I learned how to read
- Marx and Lenin
- Yes
- U/contributeswithmemes
- Golang, javascript, typescript. 5 yrs
- Not much. Just my favorite food/socialist subreddits
- Yes, I build web applications for my day job.
- 4 yrs
- Lenin
- Obviously
- Same as on here: aldentesempre

Programmer for 25 years, know lots of languages, I am not strong in visual design by I am very strong in all of the meta around software (because I’ve been doing it for so long and because I have lead dozens of teams) architecture, security, planning, training, team dynamics, strategy. Let me know if you need a graybeard in a suit.

- I know Javascript, CSS, HTML and Ruby, I have around a year with most, but I’ll be honest and say that I still have a good bit to learn before I can say I am good with any of them
- I am very active online, especially on chat groups (like discord), but I don’t comment that much on stuff like reddit and lemmygrad
- I have made a few websites, though never with several people
- I’ve been an ML for around 2 years now
- I think it’s either Lenin or Marx
- Yes, no compromises when it comes to trans liberation

Not a coder, just commenting to push this post up higher in the algorithm.
speaking of u/based_grandma69, where is he in lemmy. that name give me a lot of nostalgia of pre-quarentined r/GenZedong
