    The president decreed an exception status because of the increment of homicides. It is needed to point out that the president has implemented a plan to control regions dominated by gangsters, but there are days in which homicides surge so gangster kill many people. The president decreed an exception status so almost 3000 gangsters have been captured. We are happy with that since gangsters kill many people indiscriminately. They extort small businesses and are close to drug smugglers and organized crime. The press, owned by the rich, is against the president and present fake news so you will see biased news in the regular information outlets.

        He made Bitcoin a legal currency in his country and decided to use the profits to build an animal hospital.

            trying to make a ‘‘Bitcoin City’’ that will most surely leave a terrible environmental impact to fund animal-hospitals instead of normal, people-hospitals or just… any kind of public infrastructure, is not exactly cool

              To minimize the envieonmental impact Bitcoin city will be powered with geotermal energy. He already built a big hospital with 1000 beds to treat covid19 patients. And he is funding a lot of public infraestructure. I’m salvadoran and I have seen that development. It’s a small country anyway.

        From what I know Bukele isn’t in good terms with either the international left nor the globalist right. He is mostly famous for challenging traditional power structures, sticking it to old corrupt parties of El Salvador (including the ex-revolutionary leftist FMLN) and regularly denouncing Washington and the international community when they hinder his government.
