I’m starting to think that it’s a Christian thing to do jack shit of what they claim their faiths follow. Because that technically falls both into worshipping and - if you want to stretch it - Blood Magic. Isn’t the Blood of the Lord (well, wine) the only sacred one?
This coupled with the weird ass witchposting… only reminiscent of the stranger sides of Nazi political religion and occultism. Just weird as hell innit, it’s like they have to replicate everything they can the NSDAP did.
For one, prayers and temple rituals ARE magic too.
Second, Christianity is full into blood obsession, and there’s even passages about the blood of the saints/martyrs, so it’s only to be expected for this to happen in some form or another, like Jehovah’s Witnesses’s children dying because not accepting transfusions.
“It is not real christianity” is one of the oldest and most boring takes ever, dating literally from even before it was accepted as state religion by Rome.
