I plan to watch another Soviet film but I might go for a Chinese one instead. Still haven’t watched Lightyear… yet. Also, I plan to watch the Spanish show El Cid since I heard good things about it but we’ll see how that goes.

My answers?
I haven’t watched any TV shows or dramas this year, but I can say that, in terms of “unpopular opinions,” I tend to consider the Hannibal TV show to be the best of the 2010s.

I just watched Perfect Blue(1998) with my gf. It’s a disturbing and beautiful movie. It’s about a pop idol that turns into an actress and develops a psychological breakdown that increases in severity as the movie goes along. It pushes the boundaries of what can be shown with animation and through movies. Perfect blue is a movie that Hollywood has attempted to replicate and has clear influence in the industry. It delves into and anticipates the development of avatars and how sometimes we lose control of these online avatars to the point they transform us.
Going to have to add this to my list!
