I don’t even know what to say anymore

We’re fucked. Literal Nazis are now this easy to promote as “queer allies”

literally all they have to say in the article is that azov hasn’t attacked any lgbtq+ people (probably a false claim), and that they accepted money from a queer organization. even if they weren’t virulently homo/transphobic, that’s pretty far from allyship

Definitely a false claim, even according to Radio Free Europe:

Olena Shevchenko, an activist for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community, wrote on Facebook that police did “nothing” to prevent the group of right-wing Azov and Pravy Sektor battalion members from disturbing the October 18 event in the city of Chernivtsi.

She also said two men – one Ukrainian and one German – suffered light injuries after being attacked by Azov members.

I have no source to link but I’ve read dozens of small stories of Nazis attacking (among other demographics) queers in Ukraine. It is absolutely a false claim.
