I’m looking for:

-One for link shortcuts (like Quick Links)

-One that helps with PDFs and maybe converts stuff into PDFs.

-A highlighter addon/extension

-Best “read-aloud” extension

-Some note-taking addon/extension

-Best video downloader

-Anything that helps with language learning.

-A sound recording thing.

-Anything that helps keep track of times and tasks.

-Dictionary or word-listing addon.

-Anything that helps with bookmarking and saving articles.

-And anything that helps with reading.

One last thing:

Can you toggle off the extensions/addons so that they won’t take up any RAM or memory? Like, shut them off and they won’t factor into the output of the computer or browser?

Thanks!

Also, which ones do you think are the most useful in terms of addons/extensions?

I don’t use any that do the things you mentioned, but I have some other addons that could be useful.

This one is extremely entertaining: Billionaire-to-oligarch replacer

    Other than that, I have:

    • Dark Reader: This automatically generates CSS to make a dark mode for any website. It breaks sometimes, but not often, and it can be turned off for sites that it breaks.

    • Violentmonkey: This is a userscript addon. It allows you to run scripts when certain websites load. I use it for fixing websites that are broken or do something stupid like changing my volume automatically without a setting to stop it (YouTube).

    • uBlock Origin: I use this rather than other content blockers because it is faster, uses less RAM, and is open source

    • LocalCDN: This downloads commonly-used frameworks when you visit a site using them, and on subsequent visits to sites that use that framework, it’ll just get the downloaded version instead. This allows you to use less bandwidth, have websites load faster, and increases your privacy. It does take some drive space though.

    • ClearURLs: This removes tracking from URLs.

    • CanvasBlocker: This disables and modifies certain javascript APIs to prevent sites from using them to violate your privacy. It can break sites, but it can be turned off for sites it breaks if needed.

    • KeePassXC-Browser: This connects to the open-source password manager called KeePassXC to provide autofill passwords and a secure password generator.

    • Multi-Account Containers: This uses Firefox’s container feature to force certain sites to open in specific containers. For example, I have my school-related sites open in a school container. This means anything I do there won’t affect anything else I do outside of that container.

Multi Account Containers are great, maybe my new favorite extension KeePassXC as a standalone program is great. Ublock origin is a classic, and I’d add NoScipt to this list.

Sort of related but I love Reader Mode in Firefox

      Checking these out.

Also, if anyone could actually give me what I asked for, that would be nice as well. 😅
