Kerala in India has CPI Marxist in power though they are more socdem than socialist.

Yes. I don’t dislike them or anything because them being socdem and forming questionable alliances is more a result of the communist movement of India being disjointed and weak. But CPI(M) is still worth mentioning because they have achieved things like almost 100% literacy rate, which is in stark contrast to the rest of the country.
