Reddit quarantined (and might soon ban) the most active communist subreddit, and one of the very few non-western-supremacist ones left.

We’ve gotten dozens of new applications, and are approving them as quickly as we can.

    I downloaded lemmur but it won’t recognize lemmygrad.ml as a valid instance. Am I typing it in wrong? It seemed to work fine on Jerboa.

      In my experience, Lemmy works well enough in a mobile browser that the need for an app has become somewhat redundant. Not to say the apps aren’t nice or useful, but compared to garbage like Facebook and Reddit, it’s amazing what developers can do on a shoestring budget when the advertising and surveillance mandates which lead to shit like the Reddit Redesign are thrown out the window.

        Reddit used to be alright on mobile but they broke it to force people onto the advertising plasterer shit.

      That’s weird, I don’t have a phone here to try it out but I’ve seen multiple people complaining about the same, maybe using Jerboa is the better option for now.

          Ah, then it’s an unfortunate bug, I’d recommend going with Jerboa until they fix that, they have pretty similar features any way.
