what i disagree of that graph, is the public opinion and phase 1.

lately i’ve been seeing them trying to get the perfect 100% in favor to avoid impopular wars like vietnam and korea.

the estatunian pop are pretty much already on board in starting ww3 (based on the news i see and interactions with people that live in nato countries), still the news continues to pump a lot of shit.

i see this happening with china rn, like they r mixing phase 1 and 2, specially after the ukranian fiasco and the threat that brics represents to us hegemony.

fell free to argue, i haven’t thought about it to much to explain better my point.

This needs a “Part 6” where the public learns nothing from this and just moves onto supporting the next war uncritically.

And with the “starting ww3” part, that’s just stage 1 for the conflict after this one. :/

I would argue it’s because the notion that that would be it hasn’t penetrated the shell of delusion yet. War is still something that happens “out there”. Just another Safari with the boys, right? I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - the reason yanks spend so much time wanking Pearl Harbor and Brits spend on “the Blitz”, is because those events had, for the first time in centuries, brought their war back home.

Exactly this, you cannot be understand when you speak of peace to people for whom war is abstraction.
