They so much didn’t enjoy being gay that the state had to implement a law forcing Spartiates to have children and enforcing it was a problem since they still didn’t.

It’s well documented that every time the Spartans or the Greeks had gay sex, they would sign a ‘no homo’ contract afterwards. So, no, they were not gay.
