America is truly an awesome place to be a nazi.
Pow, hm? So who were they fighting for? Not saying every german person was bad but I feel like they’re ignoring that the Soviets were punishing literal Nazis. Being nice to Nazis isn’t exactly a good look imo
Also the soviets had nothing to spare. Because the fucking Axis burned down most of the arable land and killed around 30 million soviet citizens.
The worst the US got hit by was Pearl Harbor and some hot air baloon bombs. In short, nothing.
Based soviet camp making her husband’s nazi grandfather cry for years.
Libs when the US treats Nazi POWs well: so great, this is why we were better than the Soviets
Libs when American POWs are treated well in Korea: ebil commie brainwashing
I have to admit, the way that generic antisocialists casually whitewash Axis personnel astounds and fascinates me.
Few of them say outright that the Fascists were heroes who fought bravely to save Western civilization and the white race from Asiatic hordes and Judeo‐Bolsheviks. Instead, most antisocialists rely on far subtler methods: ignoring Axis war crimes as much as possible, promoting the ‘clean Wehrmacht’ and ‘clean Regio Esercito’ myths, blame any atrocities entirely on a single individual, or—my favourite—blaming anything and everything on us, as usual.
Some antisocialists like to identify or insinuate that they’re also antifascist, but it’s pretty clear from their arguments (e.g. ‘harming people for having different opinions on stuff is fascist!!’) and their repetition of boring trivia (‘National SOCIALIST!!!’) that their knowledge of modern history is very shallow, hinting that they don’t take Fascism seriously after all. I really wonder if they even know basic history like the invasion of Manchuria or the reinvasion of Ethiopia…
