If there is just one thing I just can’t stand any more, it’s the pearl clutching over authoritarianism that saturates everything. It has to be the most unthinking concept in political discourse and it shows. In class we have a discussion about the flaws in “rights” and how John Locke was an insufferable moron only to be dragged down by some “Korea bad, China bad” comments from the class. We have a lecture on global politcal economy and worker expropriation of capital in early 2000s Argentina only to be sunk by the fucking political compass. What fresh hell is this??
