    No but a lot left-liberals had big hopes that the Yellow Vests were going to do anything and hold this cliché that the french are such big revolutionaries which is bs

      I mean they did the French revolution a couple times. The Paris commune is the birth of the socialist movement. Every major 20th century socialist leader outside of Fidel and Che spent a significant time in Paris. We’re talking Lenin, Ho Chi Minh, Kim Il Sung and the like. They aren’t the center of socialist revolutionary theory in the 21st century but France has an important history that can’t be dismissed. The yellow vests were overall a positive movement.

        Yeah historically there was a lot of things but right now they are completely incapable because anticommunism made them reject the bare concept of organising to take power
