I copied so many atrocities directly from the Wikipedia page here until they literally exceeded the character limit, but the quotes had too many racial slurs to comfortably remove even with ctrl+f so I just deleted them all

    Show this to the yanks and they’ll twist and turn about how “that was a century ago”, “everyone was like that at the time”, “well your country is worse” etc

      And don’t forget that the US used, essentially, Haitian slave labor to dig their own gold and put it onto US battleships, and the gold was then delivered directly to “55 Wall Street”, which tells you all you need to know about why it happened

      One of my “favorite” (or least favorite, whatever) parts was how some journalists investigated and exposed the atrocities and the US Military defended themselves by basically saying “well the (n words) are too savage to govern themselves so we need to invade them and shoot them for fun”

      In this particular war, the Marines shot rebels, crucified them onto doors, and then airdropped photos of these onto suspected rebel camps to “demoralize the rebels” (see the picture of Peralte after his death)
