“The other half was taken down by Ukrainian air defence” Got a source for that? Because IIRC, Ukraine’s air defence systems are notoriously shitty. I’ve never heard of Ukraine shooting down a Kalibr (which fly low to the ground at supersonic speeds), and most of the time they fail to down Geran-2s (which fly sub-100 kmph and are easily visible even with the naked eye).

Western propaganda media is repeating the story half were shot down. To be fair NATO has been giving them very good toys to play with, I doubt they actually shot down half but I’d bet they shot down some, perhaps a third and the Ukrainians inflated it as usual? Let’s also not forget there are likely actual NATO special forces and intelligence operators in Ukraine coordinating their air defenses and missile defenses using equipment they are already trained on given to Ukraine.

This is not some low burn proxy war, the west is all in. CIA and other intelligence agencies are actively feeding, coordinating, sharing, using intelligence from space assets and all other assets including any agents they have in Russia, cyber-intrusions, etc. They are right up to Russia’s line of involvement, really crossed it but Russia probably isn’t willing to escalate with NATO over that and has no way to prove what Langley is doing.

“Might not”? When it comes to the Western media, it’s best not to give them the benefit of the doubt. Their strategy is to firehose falsehoods and then make everyone forget about it by the time the real evidence comes out by making up more bullshit
