Adding to what @seanchai said, lemmy.ml is supposed to be for leftists (whatever that means; I tend to use it for socdems and better), but a minority of the users (typically from other instances like sopuli.xyz) are very vocally pro-NATO and anticommunist, leading to garbage like what was linked in this post
Whats the difference between lemmygrad.ml and lemmy.ml? Did people leave lemmy.ml and start lemmygrad.ml?
