What do these fuckers really think is gonna happen if Russia wins? Like seriously, they really must believe their own bullshit when they say “omg Russia is gonna keep going after winning in Ukraine!!!1!1!1!1”

Nevermind the fact that if Russia really was some imperialist, land grabbing nation then why the hell didn’t they attack one of their weaker neighbors? Oh wait that’s right, it’s because none of them had neo-nazi groups being directly funded and armed by the West, none of them were attacking their Russian-speaking population, and none of them were considering joining NATO and hosting fucking nukes on their territories.

God living in this world fucking sucks

I mean their whole narrative is that Russia is attacking Ukraine completely unprovoked because it’s trying to remake USSR or some shit. Admitting that Russia isn’t fighting in Ukraine because it’s imperialist means admitting that Russia is fighting stop NATO expanding to its borders.

      • Hilarious because the USSR literally freed Ukraine from being part of Russia since they (especially Lenin) felt they were a distinct enough people group to deserve their own nation. It might make sense if Putin had invaded Finland for example.

I don’t trust these coming articles. Feels like they’re not admitting defeat, but rather setting up the narrative for a direct intervention

Yeah, I thought it was going to be a “evil Ukranians betrayed the noble west” narrative, but more and more they do seem to be setting up for a “Poor innocent Ukraine is doomed unless NATO actively attacks Russia.”

Remember when Nick “The Bloodied” Romanov decided to throw millions into slaughter under the pretext of “protecting our slavic brethren”?

It’s been several incredibly bloody wars and over a century since, but it seems once more the bourgeoisie is marching the world into a global slaughter for the same reason as before.

Does seem like they’re determined to head towards that “destruction of capital” thing Marx talked about.

Except this time weapons are so much more advanced than even the sheer landscape-reforming crap from the previous world wars.

I feel more like they’re testing the waters, the good thing is that the average person in the West is losing more and more confidence over the inherent “superiority” of US American led power by the year. There was a moment in the beginning of the war that it might have been possible to mobilize NATO nations to send boots on the ground but a lot has changed in these 2 years.

Another woman, who asked to speak anonymously, said Ukrainian soldiers had based themselves near civilians, were drawing Russian fire on the area, and were using up local resources.

Oh cool, even CNN is reporting it now.
