    Good news on one hand. On the other hand, I don’t believe a single word that South Korea’s defense chief says as a general principle unless there’s more evidence.

      You’re right not to. The news is probably better - far as I understand DPRK administration is much more pragmatic than exchanging artillery shells and short-range missiles for consumer products. Their military probably got some tech help from ours. Sure seems weird DPRK had it’s first successful launch of a spy satellite in november of 2023

    Seems like a win-win deal. The collaboration government doesn’t understand this kind of exchange though.

        Sucking all that cheap energy out of Russia and keeping Russia away from the periphery wasn’t enough. They really, really wanted to do shock therapy again and get their hands on Russian workers. So far, it’s backfired. It’s the way of the two-birds-in-the-bush if ever there was one.
