“Meatless mondays” - i mean it’s absolutely ok to be vegetarian, but it’s like the friday fast in christianity, which was caused by lack of food in general.
Yes, in the bourgeoise mouth it is basically “eat less, peasant”. Also “eat worse” like it happened in the XIX century when capitalism developing in Europe caused grains and bread in the poor people diet to be largely replaced by potatoes. Now we see similar thing in the capitalist promotion of certain foods (and fucking bugs too), and a lot of western leftists are buying the packacge wholesale.
