I’m reading an article by it right now.
I find the work good so far, despite it not being a Marxist-Leninist journal, but instead a “Marxist journal” (which is A-OK as far as I’m concerned). It’s more “respectable” in a sense, but pro-China and pro-AES for the most part, though it has some old-fashioned stances, like the “Khruschev’s secret speech” stance that many are trying to shed (that is, the newer generation of communist from the late 2010s; our brand).
It’s an old one and respected one, though obviously Monthly Review is more accessible. Thoughts on it (if you have read it, that is)?
How does it treat Khrushchev’s 1956 speech?
Unfortunately, it says some veiled stuff about Stalin, but it talks about achievements of the Soviet Union made under Stalin so take that for what you will, I suppose.
