I googled liberalism and it just says it is an ideology of freedom that incorporates the free market. This freedom should not limit other people’s freedom, but there is no clear line. Next to that there should be limited government interference.
If liberals actually understoond what liberalism means, they would immediately spot the hypocrisy of this ‘ideology’. There is no ideology in liberalism. You can’t have an ideology that follows these kind of hollow principles like ‘freedom’. The free market has also proven itself time and time again to be useless because everytime a crisis pops up the government has to step in and set rules, bail out companies, start social aid programs etc. What if, instead of waiting for every new crisis (which are mostly caused by this same fucking free market), we just abolish this free market and start co-operating with the intent to improve society as a whole?
No, that’s communism and that is scary because stalin big spoon incoherent rambling etc
Lenin defined Liberalism as the “ideology of capitalism”, and he’s god damn right.
The goal of the Liberal ideology is to ensure that the bourgeoisie maintains control over the means of production, which they do by defending market interests, and disrupting social-progressive movements. Modern progressive liberals only back movements like BLM, because without propagandized black supporters, the rich will lose their struggle hold over the means. While they support these movements, they try to steer the rage back towards liberal pacifism, MLK referred to this as “white moderatism”.
If most liberals knew what liberalism was actually meant to do as an ideology, they’d likely radicalize. But if they don’t challenge liberal propaganda as they do so, they’ll fall into the other function of the liberal ideology. That being the gradual shift to fascism. American politics constantly pushing the window further and further right isn’t a failure of the system, rather it’s liberalism working as intended, and the end goal is total domination of the means of production and everything that relates to it by the 1%.
