The Nepal Communist Part won elections and was in power during a brief time, I can’t say for sure but it seemed like it was a convoluted mess because it was a merge of a Leninist and a Maoist party, then it dissoluted and a woman who was somewhat of a leader in it lefts the party, forms her own or presents herself individually and wins elections and becomes president. Now there is another dude who seems even less of a leftist. All in all I would say there is a big potential but the party lacks organization and clearly there is a lot of opportunism.
