Spanish should be the Lingua Franca of the Americas, seeing as it’s the most spoken language there. An Argentinian or Ecuadorian should be able to go to Milwaukee or Saskatoon and talk to the people there in Spanish. I hate English language imperialism.

Oddly enough the only place that seems to be fighting English impearialism at all is Qubec in (Mostly) English speaking Canada
But they are trying to make people speak FRENCH, which is arguably worse and a war crime.
As a native spanish speaker, hell yea it should.
