To give them some semblance of sel determination, i’m a king so it wouldn’t be socialism, not in USA anyway, and it’s absolutely clear that they won’t get any selfdetermination on federal level, it would be easier in states.
The purpose isn’t to help the people really, current USA is sadly too fucked up for that, the purpose is to defend the rest of the world from USA. Balkanization on state level, though it won’t last since they would join anyway would at worst given the world years maybe evn decades of reprive and at best make former USA into several lasting state blocks, with more ruling representation of current minorities.

The american empire IS the current institutions of the American government and wallstreet if they arent around anymore neither is the empire its not like the american people are somehow more empire prone than any other peoples on earth. the dissolution of the US wouldn’t happen at any point when it would be in any way beneficial to the global proletariat, it certainly would never happen while it still has an empire or even while it is still ruled by capitalist, so calls for such a thing are nothing more than bloodlust for the suffering of other working people for no benefit to anyone. again it is the same as calls for balkanization of countries like china it is never a good thing because it can only happen to a state which has been defeated.
If the most reactionary imperial force in the world were suddenly no longer an influence then the multipolar world would be free to rise up. With no artificial backing puppets like South Korea and the United Kingdom would soon crumble, making room for progressive forces.
