    Reminder that at least one of the weather balloons they shot down belonged to a ham radio club. One of my buddies is a hammy and the second he saw the balloon story he goes “that looks like a balloon ham radio clubs will send up. My club bought one years ago. They are like $500 to set up and launch.” lol. He called it day one.

      Haha I forgot about that, probably cost a few million bucks to take out that ham radio balloon too. :)

        This is ham radio, as you can see it have nothing to do with pig’s ass except maybe cases when pig’s ass is using it.

            I could be dead wrong on this (and I’m too lazy to google) but I’ve read that the term “ham radio” comes from the fact that early versions of amateur radio sets were cobbled together from other radio parts, in a hamfisted way.
