Just reminds me of how liberals often have correct criticisms of the West and capitalism but have utterly no idea what to do about it. Libfem gaming journalists like Anita Sarkeesian are absolutely correct about the dehumanizing portrayal of women in video games, but the ending statement of all those critiques always ends up akin to “just be better”. I’m all but convinced that liberals don’t actually want to change anything. Any social ill they come across is just an excuse for them to moralize and pontificate. If things were actually fixed, they’d have nothing to feel superior about, which would absolutely destroy them (most of them are actually pretty pathetic people in real life).
