No one really knows what’s in it as well. The wildest rumours go round, including pig eyeballs and left over horse meat. But no one cares really.

I think some madlads do it but I have never heard about anyone making it at home. Most people buy them in snack bars or in the supermarket.
Okay…hear me out…when I was a kid, guys with carts selling fried sausages mixed with fish/ beef balls along with other meats was a nice treat. It’d be tossed in this hot sauce, god…it was sooo good.
Was it healthy? No. Was it sometimes served piping hot in a plastic bag? Yes, but I have a nice story to tell!
as a non-Dutchie, had that once when I was visiting there, if my memory from over a decade ago is right, it was actually rather tasty.
