I was surprised to see so much people defending working class politics on a mainstream sub.
I would’ve never imagined this kind of discourse happening just a few years ago.

    What did surprise me, though, is the big number of Man Utd flairs supporting communist thought. I don’t know why but Manchester United is not the first leftist club that comes to mind for me.

      I mean, if there’s football fans that know what a bunch of parasitic owners can do to such a big organization, it’s them lol
      I think it was something in the range of 2 billion pounds leeched out of the club over the years

      Don’t underestimate northerners. People in the UK might have a brainwashed notion of class these days, but the north still has its historical roots. There are whole communities who still remember that their granddads were worked into an early grave down in the coal pits.
